Match Winner
Which team will win the match — this is the simplest market. In T20 there are only two options (in Test there are three — Team A, Team B or Draw). For example: if Team A's odds are 2.10 and Team B's are 1.75, a ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳875 if they win.
Toss Bet
A bet on which team will win the coin toss. It is a pure 50-50 chance, so odds on both sides are usually about the same. This market closes before the match starts.
Top Batsman
Bet on which player will score the most runs in a specific innings. There are usually many candidates, so the odds are higher — but picking the right one is difficult.
Total Runs Over/Under
Bet on whether the total runs scored in a full innings or a specific number of overs will be above or below a set line. For example: a line of "160 runs" means betting on whether the team will score more or less than 160.
Multi Bet
Multiple selections from different matches or markets are combined into a single bet. If all selections are correct the payout is much higher, but if even one is wrong the entire bet is lost. For example: three separate matches with odds of 1.70, 1.80 and 1.90 give combined odds of 5.81 — a ৳100 bet returns ৳581 if all three win, but if any one loses the full ৳100 is gone.
Method of First Wicket
Bet on how the first wicket will fall — bowled, caught, run out or another method. This is a specialist market where a correct prediction comes with higher odds.
Handicap Bet
The stronger team is given an artificial runs or wickets deficit to create a more even contest. In a handicap bet you win if the weaker team covers that deficit, not just if they win the match outright.

All three formats express the same value. Decimal 2.50 means a total return of ৳2.50 for every ৳1 staked (profit plus stake); Fractional 3/2 means ৳3 profit for every ৳2 staked; American +150 means ৳150 profit on a ৳100 bet.

A favourite has lower odds, so the profit on the same stake is smaller. A negative American odds figure (-125) means you need to stake ৳125 to make ৳100 profit.
In-play or live betting means placing bets while a match is in progress. In cricket, the odds change with every wicket, boundary or completed over. It differs from pre-match betting because you can make decisions based on what is happening in the match right now.
Example: In a T20, Team A has scored only 25 runs in the first 5 overs and has lost 2 wickets. In this situation Team A's odds to win will lengthen because their position looks weak. If they then score 18 runs in the next over, the odds shift quickly again.
